Inter Milan striker Luka Modric is on course for his first Serie A title with Inter, as he scored twice in the 2-1 victory over Udinese on Saturday.
The Croatian forward, who has already won two titles with Real Madrid, will hope to add another to his tally when Inter face Bologna at San Siro on Sunday.
In total, Inter have won three Serie A titles and Modric has been instrumental in their success so far this season, scoring five goals from his ten appearances.
He added his second goal against Udinese on Saturday, which came after a stunning long-range strike that saw him dive into the penalty area before firing past goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Modric said: "It was a really good goal. I'm happy because I played well and I wanted to put my name on the score sheet.
"I felt like I had the ball down low but I just had to go for it and make the best use of the chance."
Despite scoring a brace in the opening game, Inter have struggled to find their form in recent games, losing all four of their previous matches and failing to win any of them.
But they are confident that Modric's goal record will help them secure their fourth consecutive league title.
"His goal record is very important," Inter coach Antonio Conte said. "He has a lot of experience and knows how to play football.
"We're looking forward to seeing what he can do."
